Stress kills....literally! How do you cope when you're high strung? Do you keep it in? Do you have a punching bag handy? Do you fuck senseless to work it off? Any tips? Help required

Heavy workout at the Gym is good... Otherwise for me it’s mind over matter

I took Bells Paulsey years ago because I let things stress me out. They say it always comes back but since then I recognise triggers in situations that push my buttons and I take myself out of the equation. Whether it be in work or not, I have walked away from a boss mid roasting before. Stress is something, to an extent, people are expected to cope with. The problem is it builds and builds until one minute you thought you were managing it and the next half of your face has dropped and people think you're taking a stroke.

I clean. It really helps to concentrate on something simple and it always has a positive impact on my stress levels afterwards

I try to find me time on a regular basis so that the stress doesn't build up. Have a bath, meet friends for coffee, go to my local swinging club, go for a walk in the country or go off in my Motorhome.

List things that make you happy and make sure you add then into your weekly plan.

Gym! Go work it off in the gym - failing that walk those beautiful coastal paths. Hope you’re soon over and out the other side of it. I can sympathise... I went through the same with my med exams

Got a dog, he helps massively

Prioritise, do only what's necessary

Mindfulness, use an app like headspace

Eat and sleep well.

I either go for a a run, do kettlebell swings and snatches ,or totally self destruct and get d*unk.

In seriously stressful situation, I'll do the fitness followed by wine! LOL

Go for a walk, get some distance from what has stressed you.

And if that doesnt work stick pins in a voodoo doll works a treat!!

You just need to feel the burn. Leg press, squats, hamstrings, deadlifts. All that lovely lactic acid and ache. You'll be fine in no time.
