While perusing the aisles in a Polish supermarket yesterday I found apricot Jaffa Cakes! And they have cherry ones too!

Had to fling a packet in my basket with my pickled herrings. Be rude not to really.

What unusual biscuit delights have you uncovered lately?

Not a biscuit, but when I’m in America I always stock up on the caramel, almond and peanut butter m&m’s. A crime that they’re not sold over here except in specialist shops.

Lemon and salt kit kats. A friend brought one back from Japan and I'm not wondering how cheap I can get a flight there for to get more. Strangely mourish.

Seen in far off places

Plain and boring rich tea biscuits

If I was a biscuit, I'd probably be this?...

Not loved much, not the top of anybody's list, a bit dull and forgettable.

*sigh*

Apricot Jaffa Cakes. Sounds yummy!

Did you know...?

McVitie's invented the jaffa cake but they never trademarked them, so anybody can make the same thing under the same name, which is why they make a point of calling them the original on the box.

There's been over 200 different Kit Kat flavours in Japan, the mind boggles.

I'm not entirely convinced by the merits of the "breakfast biscuit"...

My dad called Rich Tea and digestives "dry biscuits". He always looked a bit horrified if he found them in the biscuit tin, but he always ate a couple "to help you out".

Funny
