Does anyone else get fed up trying to work out what to have for dinner in the evening and find themselves eating to survive rather than eating something you really enjoy?

I find it harder to cook for one as well. Thank god for beans on toast...

Certainly at times I can't be bother and will walk round the corner to Subway, generally I like to cook though. Try making things like soup or stew etc that you can cook one night and have over a few nights

A box at end of your bed

For myself I just cannot be bothered cooking. Weeks I have my son with me I do try to make the effort to cook and to do him something different every day. To be honest when you go shopping it's him I look to buy the food for.

leeds

It's not enjoyable cooking for one so I find myself buying food that's quick and easy to cook. Sometimes it gets a bit bland but it's got everything in it that you need.

you're just fulfilling a craving so just eat something healthy that gets rid of the hungry tummy and don't worry too much what it is and how often you eat it

It is all a bit of an effort sometimes. I do love to cook in general but sometimes just get brain freeze on what to actually do and then do nothing

Den of Iniquity

I tend to cook a large homemade shepherd's pie or lasagne , or even a big stew .

Then I seperate it into 4 , eat one lot and freeze the other 3 in tubs.

The same day I'll do one of the other ones and do the same. That way I only cook once a week , and I'll treat myself ( and Pooch) to a takeaway on a Fri or Sat
