Years ago i had a little electric clicky thing to zap bites with.
Soothes the itch so it can heal, but they dont work on everyone.
Worth a punt for a couple of quid on amazon though. |

Coconut oil
Mozzies don't usually bite me, but I have a severe reaction to spider bites.
Ended up in hospital several times
Last week I was told to put coconut oil on the bites, and it also works on mozzies bites
It also works as a repellent, I've always put it on my hair so not sure if that's why mozzies stay away |

"Oh dear. You’ll be needing some antihistamine tablets or cream and in future either Avon Skin So Soft or Citronella oil..."
Do not use coconut oil. Its an urban myth. Hahaha. Skin so soft if the answer it has a part of citronella in that i always forget waht its called.
Also any antihistamines will reduce the swelling.
Good luck. |

I swear by the Avon skin so soft it’s amazing stuff and half the price of branded insect repellent |

There and to the left a bit |
I got bitten to buggery a few weeks back clearing stuff in the garden - chemist recommended antihistamine cream (got Boots own brand for about £4) but they stressed that the key is to only put the tiniest smear on - apparently too much can have the opposite effect.
Used it for 4 or 5 days and it worked a treat |

Yea chemist just said same to me and told me to keep foot elevated to stop swelling. So guess I’ll be driving with one foot out the window cheers anyway |
