Do men even take note of it?? Ive just ironed mine again and put more freaking creases in it than there were originally i think.. grrr

do you have certain bed sheets for meets or is it just a case of whatevers clean and to hand? Do you bring out the best duvet covers or do you just use the everyday kinda duvet thats easy to wash iron?

I iron my bed linen too.

I cant get a good nights sleep on linen that hasn't been ironed.

As for if anyone notices I wouldn't know - I don't play in the bed I sleep in. Its about 100 years old and wouldn't take the strain!

i take note the degree of it being clean

i also like a made bed rather than just something that has been put down for the purposes of a meet

as for how well the pillows are plumped, if the sheets are ironed etc, then know

i do have a bit of a bedding fetish - in that i keep buying it cos it looks nice

in fact, it's got to the stage where i'm running out of drawers to store it all in

i am glad that mrs bus was with me when i was shopping at bicester village last summer - had she not been (and talked some sense into me) the £250 ralph lauren bedding would have been on it's way to manchester that afternoon

I don't iron mine, but it has to be 100% cotton and changed at least once a week.

Oh and duvet and pillows must be feather and plump...

Never iron our bed stuff for meets or otherwise. (But then I do hate iroing with a passion)

Do always have a quick check of others bedding to make sure it is clean.

"People iron sheets "

glad it wasnt just me thinking this.. but then.. I iron as little as possible.. I find that if I hang things on hangers straight away or fold them nicely that most stuff is okay.. and if not I iron it the night before it needs wearing.

Basically because have you ever seen the mess of nice ironed clothes that kids can make when looking for stuff??? lol

"Fitted sheets...;-);-)"

They certainly dont need ironing.. but they are a pain to fold lol

And to answer about special bedding.. I have a 2nd duvet I normally throw over my bed.. as basically otherwise I am left at 11pm trying to clean my bedding

little house on the praire

Ive never ironed bed linen in my life. I put it in the tumble dryer long enough to dry with no creases and it goes straight back on the bed. I have a spare set for emergencies but my linen matches my curtains. However for a meet, i Put shower curtain over the top, then an old sleeping bag and then two easy wash cream blankets. When ive finished the top stuff just gets taken off and washed and i have a lovely clean bed to lie in. However it does amuse me when i have a guy lying on my bed being naughty wrapped round bedding that is covered in confetti type stuff not very macho lol.

hey you do whatever you want treacle i'm just way too damn lazy thats all

i remember going to my mums one evening when i had a jumper on with i twist type thing in the front of it and my mother asked "how do you iron that" i replied "oh mother i don't, i don't iron anything" she looked at me shocked and asked who ironed the boys uniforms to which i told her they did, she was horrified that i made them iron their own clothes, i gently reminded her that i alway had to iron my own clothes from the age of 11 when i lived at home to which she exclaimed "but your a girl!"

to say i was lost for words at that is an understatememnt

my mum, bless her, irons everything including her knickers

i have berated her over this often after her comment about my boys ironing so when we were helping her with some work in the garden she appeared in a perfectly ironed shirt to which i started teasing her as i saw no point in wearing something like that to just ge all muddy and ruined within a few minutes of starting work, the next day we turned up to carry on with the work and she came out with a huge grin and delighted in informing me she had washed the shirt the previous night and had actually managed to stop herslf from ironing it she was dead chuffed, bless her perfectly ironed socks
