So Mondays almost done, some hate mondays some love them.
I usually hate the 1st 6/1 shift but thanks to a good friend (not on here) who surprised me after the hospital (blood tests) i can handle tattoos piercings with needles but blood tests i go to a emotional jibbering wreck
I had flowers brought me and a good bottle of champagne
I just cried.
So what made your day good?
(Cant say nothing nice dont post, postive thread) |

"Aww Jacs, how lovely! People can be bloody awesome when you least expect it, can't they?
Lunch with a friend.
A phonecall that made me almost cry with laughter.
A letter. "
Yeah it was sweet |

"That’s really nice you have people like that.
And champagne, wow!
Wish I could afford to spoil someone like that.
"
Yeah he brought it for me to celebrate some news with someone but alas didn’t happen! |

"That’s lovely op. Friends are bloody wonderful.
My day was good. I started a new job a week ago and I’m already settled in. I managed to not fuck up! That made my Monday great. "
Happy new job |

"A visit to my most favourite restaurant with two family members you I rarely get to see.
Then seeing my friends baby boy running around his garden laughing"
Great memories |

So what made your day good?
It wasn't Tuesday, which is by far the worst day of the week.
Why so"
Because Monday you're still full of the joys of the weekend just gone but by Tuesday that feeling has disappeareed but the end of the week is still way off.
It's all downhill to Friday come Wednesday lunchtime.
Tuesday has nothing to offer. It's the real Monday. |

99.2% of new job fuck ups happen in week 2.
Have a nice Tuesday. |

What a lovely gesture OP! I can sympathise with the fear of blood tests, I'm awful with them.
Started a new job today, didn't fuck up yet, and thanks to helpers on the forum I woke up on time despite it being completely out of my 10+ yrs established work routine. I consider that a win! |

I’be been worrying about my son’s health for a few weeks now, with his anxiety about it getting worse. Today he appears to have had a proper breakthrough rather than previous false dawns. So feeling much happier tonight.
Also had the opportunity to meet a Fab friend I’ve been looking forward to meeting for quite a while. It was lovely |

That's brilliant news re your son - it must be a relief to see him feeling happier and calmer, I can only imagine. A good Monday indeed, and by the sounds of it topped off by a brill Fab meet too...what's not to like! |
