So England won the cricket World Cup
I am very proud of them, and yes it was a little controversial..
Personally I think a second super over should have taken place...
Anyway that’s not my issue, I’m fed up with the media hype now there’s even a program on radio tonight “ the greatest team in the world” or words to that effect...
When are we British going to learn???
No wonder most of the world hate us..
One persons claim today outraged me, only country in the world to have won football, cricket and rugby world cups!!
So fucking what!!!
Tell you one thing god we are arrogant, if there was a World Cup for that we would win hands down!!

British? If you mean English, stick to it.
I'm not sure the rest of the world hate the English - but they're mostly better disposed to the Scots, Irish and Welsh.

Most, if not all countries have horrific periods in their histories, you can’t be expected to carry the burden and blame for events that occurred generations ago! Should we boycott Italy because of the antics of the Romans? Or the Scandinavian countries for all the pillaging the vikings did?
Yes as a country we’ve done some bad shit in the past, but we’ve also given mankind some of the greatest inventions, medical and scientific break throughs, literature, music, not to mention one of the oldest and most admired / copied forms of democracy. Not bad for a little island off the coast of Europe |

Chill out mate, you'll give yourself a heart attack over a non-issue. The media are looking out for their own interests, obviously, and sensationalism sells, thus increased profits. Money makes the world go round and all that. |
