Use the forums as a filter?
Ie : See a comment/opinion on the forum and block that person because it makes you think they’re definitely not for me and then at least you know you won’t message them or they won’t message you?

I don’t mean on general forum comments. I mean if they say they they wouldn’t meet someone with a beard or someone who is bald etc and you are. |

Saying ‘innit’ if they are over 30.
Calling someone a ‘snowflake’ if they don’t like their opinion.
Ending a sentence with FACT!
Starting a sentence with ‘At the end of the day....’

Yes I am guilty of this, people with very extreme views, people who are hell bent on hijacking and turning threads nasty. Also people who start single man bashing threads with opening lines like “Why do ALL single men.....
All men, I don’t think so, that’s narrow minded......Block! I do love a good block, narrows down the field and makes the chances of meeting people I have things in common with more likely.
I know this can come across in the wrong way but it’s my way and I am famous for taking my own route |

I didn't use it as a filter in that I'd block people who said things I didn't agree with, but I only met people from the forums. Observing posters and their interactions is a much more accurate way of knowing if I'm attracted to someone than merely reading a profile text and looking at pictures. |

I think people are misinterpreting what I’m saying. For instance :
If you were bald and someone says they would never meet a bald guy
If you were bi and someone said they don’t meet bi people.
If you are married and someone said they don’t meet married people etc etc.
Just to save you messaging them or them messaging you as you or they are not what each other are looking for. |

I wouldnt block because of those things no, I enjoy chatting with people even if we're not compatible sexually. Also a lot of people aren't exactly strict with their rules if the right person comes along. |
