Is it just me or does anyone else find them all pretty much similar and frustrating.
You join in good faith, schroll though assuming your matches are genuine. Oh of course your profile seems to be quite popular..... with a lot of interest ......of course to do what you actually wanted to do is communicate with others you pay a fee. Then only to discover you really were,nt that popular any way. Then realising bugger they saw me coming did,nt they.
Then finally you get interest, but only to find match is at the other end of the bloody country....!!!
You spend ages chatting ,mingling online ...then you ask the question .. Can i come and meet you ..
Only for everything to go cold or dead...???
Aaaarrrrggghhh...does my head in.
Is it that people only prefer a relationship no adays online in preference to in person ? |

I haven’t used one in eons, but I tried a load about 10 or so years ago and ground okcupid to be the best.
You have to put the effort in at the beginning to answer a shit load of questions (don’t be afraid to skip the crap or irrelavent ones, of which there are a lot)
But once you have 500 or so questions under your belt then it seems to actually filter out time wasters and incompatible people. Sadly no accounting for chemistry, but literally everyone I met I got on with well.
It seems to have had a lot of changes so I’ve no idea how good it is now in the free version, but it was so good as free I paid for premium for a time just cos I wanted to support them as I didn’t actually need any of the extra features |

I think people are so used to bullshitting online they don't know how to communicate in real life anymore. Social media whores all over the place.
They're more bothered about how their relationship looks to outsiders than how it actually is. |
