I've been on Fabs for a while off and on. I find a mutual friend and quit Fabs, then when that comes to a natural end I find myself back here messaging lots of women that pique my interest, taking the time to formulate a specific and hopefully interesting message that isnt C&P or too generic.......and then check sent messages to see if any got read or maybe even replied .....BUT any i see read and deleted, i then open their profile and block them, for no other reason than to stop them appearing in my searches and therefore stopping me from messaging again. Now, IF a message is read but not deleted my brain goes through a process of "what if"....
What if....she read it but didnt have time to reply....
What if....She might be interested but is going to wit and see if im persistent.....
What if....my message was "ok" but not quite good enough, i should try harder....
What if....my message was lost amongst the hundreds in her inbox and i am actually what she is looking for but my message got "bulk read all" read?
What if, what if, what if......
So please ladies, if your not interested, just tap the delete button
And guys...please, get the hint, deleted mail is unwanted male (you see what i did there) haha.
Happy fabbing fabbers.

I never understand why people get so hung up on this. Surely the only thing that matters is if she replies?
Why not just delete your sent messages and then if you do get a reply it's a nice surprise? |

Nice and simple. Message the people that interest you.
If they don't message back, no harm done. If you feel the need to block to ensure that you don't accidentally message them again or so they don't clutter your updates, fair enough.
If they read or don't read, delete or don't delete doesn't really make any difference.
Worrying about the reasons won't be productive in any way shape or form. |

You've gotta kiss a million frogs to find a princess. Women get hundreds of messages while we get none etc etc. You've found friends before, just be patient. Gets hard writing the messages so many times doesn't it? |

There and to the left a bit |
Here's what I suggest you do OP:
(1) Send message
(2) Copy/paste sent message into the Private Notes facility on the users profile along with a note of the date you sent the message
(3) Delete sent message
(4) If they reply - happy days proceed according to the nature of the reply
(5) Check each profile you are about to send a message to to see if you previously added a Private Note
(6) If you did previously send one don't send new message unless the last one was at least 2-3 months ago
Doing (3) really will remove any worrying over what ifs and buts |

I delete any email I send form my sent folder. If I get a reply then great. If I don't get a reply then oh well.
Keeping on looking at your sent email to see what happened to an email must be very frustrating. |
