Has anyone ever went to a club and met someone you knew that didn't know this side of your lifestyle, ie work colleagues, friends or even a family member?

That is one of our biggest fears about going to a club x

They will be there for exactly the same reason as you. What's the problem ?

A few years ago I bumped into a work colleague and his wife at Chams when I was there with my now-ex,I just spoke to them like I would if we were in the supermarket or town centre. We're all there for the same reasons, and most club attendees understand the need for discretion outside of the club environment,so to me it was no big deal.

There and to the left a bit

I was at VA about three years ago when a local shop owner walked in - was a shop I visit regularly too. Was awkward on the night and we pretty much avoided each other completely.

I didn't have the choice not to go in the shop so decided discretion was the better part of valour and that next time I went in I would just act normally as if it hadn't happened - she took the decision out of my hands though. The next time I went in and the shop was empty she turned to me with a smile and said something like "So are we going to make this awkward or break the ice and get past it" and that was all that was needed.

I still go in the shop, we chat about Fab occasionally and that's that. Ultimately anyone else that is in the club is there for the same reasons as you are OP and let's face it simply by being here you *could* be spotted by someone you know - there's not a great deal of difference.
