When I first joined it never occurred to me to add the SU warning, I'd never seen it, never heard of it.

It's only when I started reading profile advice threads I realised it existed. Or of course that it was total bollocks.

I know it's not advised in Fab FaQ's.

Presumably (dangerous I know) a newbies never seen or heard of it before.....

So where on earth do people get the idea to include it?

I had it briefly on mine when I first joined. Saw it on A LOT of profiles. Soon realised it was utter tosh and my profile was long enough already, so I removed it x

other users scare them by saying if you don't put it on then as a public domain they can use your pics and info for studies, I can imagine anyone who has a half decent pic has had that pic screen saved and the vice squad have pretty much all of them and logged them onto their face recognition app, worry not, you're here, you're having fun, you're doing what most people do everyday, you're either having sex, wanking to sex related items (our pics) or going to clubs and shagging as many of your neighbours as you can

I've never had it on mine. I chortled when I saw profiles with warnings on.

In a way it is a warning. It's a good warning to stay away from the kind of mind that believes without question that it has any standing what so ever.

The SU warning is real. The myth is that the warning doesn't work. People think if they don't have the warning they are safe but they're not.

I've been sending money every month to SU to pay for their security and no-one has ever used my pics. It's well worth the £835/ month fee.

I'd like to invite you - as a valued soon to be customer - to use Grannies Warning on your profile..... at the ludicrously low cost of 1k per month. Hurry - your warning is unique and is only copiable and pastable by any individual with the internet or loan thereof.

It was never Sydney Uni, it was a classics professor (Alistair Blanchard) who worked there as a researcher and was writing a book about the myths surrounding classical/ancient societies.

Part of the book looked at how the myths of their sex lives, Roman orgies etc has impacted on modern sex lives.

The book was published years ago, and he moved on to something else.
