History, archaeology, languages, gardening and sewing for me. Politics, F1, football, DIY and classic cars and bikes for Mr N.

Jointly we like upcycling old furniture and drinking coffee.

People often ask us to help with their insomnia late at night on here by asking about our interests...

Thai boxing, running, bonsai, autistic history/geopolitics fixcation.

That's before I got seriously poorly 6 weeks ago.

Now I just lay in bed getting high/legit painkillers playing video games/netflix and trying not to think negative about what's really happening to me.

I like that work still has me for a few hours on light duties. It's a shit job but makes me feel abit normal.

Talking about B

Spending as much time as possible with B

Daydreaming about B

Mainly music, work dictates free time and I don't know from one week to the next what shifts I'll be on (and even then they can change with little notice) so having a hobby that means attending somewhere on a certain day at a certain time is a non starter, which is a shit as there are a few things I'd like to do.

I would like to make my own clothes and accessories.

In truth tho, I work, I housework, I listen to music, I fab forum. And if there's something on the TV that takes my fancy I watch it.

Pirates, Mongols, Roman's, Greeks, History in general really, but not all of it.

The natural world, animals, landscape, biology, physics, chemistry, geology, anthropology, genetics.. science in general, but dumbed down to my level.

Tribalism, people watching, trend spotting, spirituality, religion, culture, society, politics, but not all of it.

Photography, modelling, art, creativity, making things, painting, drawing and the like. Though its subjective, I'm very self critical and need a boot up the arse, motivation, the moment and collaboration to see something through to completion.

Lots of things..

You're interested in life.

We were offered a mini life coaching session at work once. I went along just to get an hour off and spoke to the woman about the fact that I never/rarely finish anything. After an hour of chatting the conclusion was ' it doesn't matter's .

Since then I have actually finished quite a few things

Making stuff. I have a 4 acre small holding with lots of animals to look after.

I've built cars and motorbikes and buildings and fences and have a classic tractor and just love creating stuff out of whatever I have lying around.

Just heading out to lay some concrete blocks for the new extension on my cottage.

The South Near That London

Photography, erotic art, restoring cars, playing guitar, music, Cani-cross (when the knees allow) travel, well visiting new places, the travel part can be a bit tedious

Oh and giving the missus a seeing to
