not sure how to start this

but why when we are sad,upset,or have a fight with there gf wife,bf ,husband we say where put some music on to cheer us up or take are mind off things

most of use then listen to love songs

not saying we all do but seams a lot of people do so why do we

you think then be worse songs to listen to

i don't....eminem is my choice of artist's "song" for all those situations try it one day. he has a song for all emotions and moods!

Sometimes the lyrics identify with what you are going through, it helps to know you are not alone, in your problems.

Sometimes it just gives hope.

I take my dog out or go to the gym. If I really want to "have a go" I've got an 80lb heavy punch back in the garage, and believe me, 3-5mins on that sorts me out

I like to listen to the moody blues, steely dan. Songs that remind me of when i was young, of my family, and of my son when he was little.

I dont think its necessarily a negative, songs have a habit of reminding you of time n places, why do they have to be negative though? I have plenty of songs that when i hear them make me smile
