"Are you guilty of seeing only one of the couple when chatting to them or do u see them as a pair?"
I'll admit at times I do forget and will unintentionally address just one. Especially if one or the other is more prominent in conversation.
However I try to include both otherwise its rude. |

I don’t often chat to couples as very few are particularly interested in chatting to me, but those I do chat to I speak to both partners when they are both around. Often it’s only one that uses the forum and I’d chat to them but with awareness of their coupledom. I don’t just focus on the women. |

I see a woman and there’s usually another person with the aforementioned woman, but that’s usually cause someone’s pointed him out, but I know nothing of him and his role in the situation, think he’s there just to drive her home or something. |

MrD
I generally address both or what I say is to them as a couple. If I want to address one over the other I try to say that + never ignore either of them. That doesn't usually happen until we have exchanged names anyway so easier to address them individually. I also write MrD at the top of all my messages to indicate if it's from me or Daisy + usually ask the other couple to indicate in some way which one of them is writing/replying. However it is never more than a single or few messages to a specific person before back to them as a couple.
We read messages the same way, they are to us as a couple unless addressed to Daisy specifically. If it is clear I am not included in it, or I am ignored when I write (never happens with couples only single guys) then they get blocked |

I generally only chat with couples and women off the back of forum threads, so I tend to just 'see' whichever of them is doing the posting, and if both of them are regular posters I'll automatically think of them as a couple when replying. |

There and to the left a bit |
There are a few couples that I have chatted to over time and usually it's obvious which one it is doing the talking and the conversation tends to veer in that direction, although I am always very careful to ensure that I'm as inclusive as I can be of both of them - even if it's just the female half chatting will always ask things like "How are you both?" "What are you both up to this weekend?" etc |
