Well I'm guessing there's a lot of people really showing their true colours on threads like these. I feel for admin having to read through a mountain of reports about both of the OPs. If people were sensible and civilised their jobs would be a lot easier.

OK, I get it.

The guy was spamming, using the forums in a way that's not seen as nice and got abusive. I can see why it got heated and why people feel justified in giving him attitude.

Freedom of speech doesn't protect you from consequences. Yes, you can say what you like, just as anyone else can, it doesn't protect you from reprisals if you're bullying or being hateful.

Freedom of speech also means that others are free to say what they like back to you too.

It works both ways.
