Some people don’t like it, some hate it and some don’t mind. Personally I love the smell of a cigarette. Smoke occasionally, every couple of months I’ll buy a pack. Love good music, a pack of cigarettes and a long drive.
Is it the idea of someone smoking that people do not like and therefore don’t meet smokers? What if it is a smoker who comes with their clothes, body and breath smelling nothing like a cigarette? Just interested. I know of course it is just quicker to say no to smokers but interested if a social/occasional smoker is seen differently? And if so is it just the smell? |

Individual choice id say. I totally get why people don’t meet smokers. I smoke but never when I meet people and I don’t smoke that much. I wouldn’t like to meet someone stinking of cigarettes either to be honest. I guess it depends if they’re a heavy smoker. |

Oh yes deffo personal choice. For people who don’t smoke or don’t like it, it would be terrible! I guess some people just don’t tend to personal hygiene when they meet! And therefore it’s easier to cross out smokers in general than have the hassle of saying “brush you teeth mate!” |

If I couldn't tell then it wouldn't make any difference. However it is common for a smoker's clothes to smell of smoke and that's enough to put me off.
The first girl I ever snogged had had a cigarette that evening and she tasted like a bloody ash tray. As nice as she was, that aspect was really unpleasant. I won't be doing that again. |

Exactly. I don’t think i smell of it. I’ve asked people before. Not that worried though. It’s in there so people have a choice whether to message me or not. I’d never ever smoke if I met someone but if they told me not to I probably would  |

Smoking fetish seems too much but don’t mind an odd cigarette as you say I’d put them away too if I was meeting. |

Doesn’t bother us at all, so long as they don’t stink of stale Fags. I occasionally have a cigarette and hubby vapes. But he only smells of mints or Licorice...or me  |

I don’t take orders. I barely even take suggestions! . But no I don’t give orders either lol. People are what they are and shouldn’t change for anyone is my view. |

Surely your health isn’t affected by someone else smelling of smoke or do you mean the sickness? If it made me feel sick I’d passionately tell smokers to fuck right off! Feeling sick is the worst thing in the world for me  |

It gives me non trivial symptoms that last for up to a week. I don't mean nausea. |

I stopped smoking in 2008, wasn’t a heavy smoker at all but I noticed my scent change. I’ve met smokers and normally can tell. Some stronger scent than others. I wouldn’t let it get in the way of meeting people I really like, even though I prefer the scent of a non-smoker. I’ve met vapers socially and that doesn’t bother me at all. But alive never had sexual contact with a vaper so don’t know if that makes a difference. Again, it wouldn’t stop me meeting them if I like them. |

Absolutely. Like everything it’s choice. People should just be honest on their profile. I wouldn’t entertain anyone who did drugs no matter how fantastic they were. It’s a no no for me. I’ve never done it and never will and I don’t want to be with people who do. |

Definitely have to be respectful with it. I always feel guilty when kids are walking by with their parents! |
