Have noticed an increase in wonderfully artistic pictures recently, looking for purely artistic reasons, and I must say I am greatly impressed by some of them.

The S8 does have that facility- here's how to activate:

1. Open the Camera App

2. Click on the Settings button at the top right of your display

3. Scroll down and click on the toggle of Voice control

4. To take pictures using your voice, simply give the command: Cheese, Camera, Smile or Shoot. If you want to record video using your voice, simply state “Record Video.”

Is also worth investing in a mobile tripod - can get some good ones whose legs are flexible so you can attach them to things (e.g. back of a chair) rather than having to find something to stand them on - most mobile phone shops will sell them or I got one from Flying Tiger was only £4 and does the job

My phone is set to just keep taking pics constantly then all we do is fuck about in front of it and spend a bit of time editing, cropping and mainly deleting! Seems to work!

Speaking as a man, it quickly becomes apparent that's there's only so many basic shots you can take. Just to save repeating yourself you soon realise you might have to try and think outside the box a little. I found as soon as I started being a bit more creative and started putting some thought and effort into my photos, not only were the pics infinity more interesting but my personality started to shine through much more too. Being creative gives you so much more scope.

I wouldn't call mine artistic by any means, I don't have either the skill or the body for that, but I have been surprised since joining how much I have enjoyed taking pics and posting them and will always try and go for a teasing and sensual angle rather than out and out blatant in your face - don't always achieve it.

As Howard said further up there is a limit for blokes to the number of poses etc you can do without them looking samey, particularly with a body shape like mine - for ladies a simple change of lingerie is all it takes to make a pic "different" whereas once you've done "white shorts/black shorts/naked" and "unbuttoned jeans/suit shot" that's about the limit for men - although I often look at other guys pics for inspiration and ideas too.

Black and white is definitely a helper but i think a photo shoot is a lot easier if you have someone with a decent camera. Got to try and find the best angles and the correct light?

Do people ever meet up for photoshoots? I would be happy to take pics and have my pics taken with the right person. A meet for stricly photos!

Yep this is what I do so far. Or a selfie stick helps! Massive mirrors do wonders too! Need one of them mirrors stuck to the roof but imagine it fell and whacked you in the face no thanks!

Your right to be suspicious of "perfect pics" I just Google them if someone messages me with them.

Your pics are great thou so nothing wrong there.

I like artistic pictures as it's in my blood having both sides of my family being very artistic, some more successful than others. I have sculptures and art all over my house from them all one offs and just stunning. I've painted a few in my time. That at times translates to some of my pictures be it on here or otherwise.

They aren't perfect but they aren't supposed to be.

As much as we love art and artistic images we're not quite the fan of it here.

Pics that capture the rawness/intensity, the arousal that makes people want to take pics there and then in the moment is what works for us and more than often shows through in the pic.

Placing everything in its correct position like an IKEA living room and having the correct amount of shade or mood lighting takes that raw, edgy feeling away for us which is exactly what we want to see here.

Just our opinion of course.
