Karma - What goes around goes around and around

OK, I know it's "What goes around comes around", but the title amuses me more.

I went to the gym a few weeks ago and used my usual locker which needs a pound coin to operate. I forgot to pick it up when I left.

The next day I went to the same locker and found my pound still there. Result! Except I forgot to pick it up again. I went back when I realised (only an hour later) but it had already gone. Bugger.

Then this morning I used the same locker and there was a nice pound coin waiting for me which I didn't forget to pick up when I left. Yay!

I gave it to a homeless person when I walked home.

Does anybody else have any stories about karma to share with us?

I saw a homeless man outside Sainsbury's and decided to but him some baccy. I don't smoke but was amazed how expensive it was. I gave it to the man and walked home still shocked at the price. That ruined my karma..

I honestly don't believe in karma in the physical sense. I gave a woman a £1 at the gym the other day for her locker, I'm still waiting for the universe to send my £1 back to me but I felt good because she was grateful and I had done something nice. That's what karma is in my opinion

Last time I lent my cock to a woman in distress. She wanted an orgasm so I thought 'why the hell not'

She cummed, left and left me with a stuffy in the middle of nowhere.

Never again.

I hope there is such a thing as karma.

Karma is a word meaning the result of a person's actions as well as the actions themselves. It is a term about the cycle of cause and effect. According to the theory of Karma, what happens to a person, happens because they caused it with their actions ...

From this perspective I believe that my ex husband is the way he is now because of how he treated me in the past...

But otherwise I'm not really a believer

I dont know about Karma but I am always giving whatever I can to the less fortunate and I dont expect nothing in return, I have a fairly decent life and its alot more than I deserve.

I do sometimes worry about just that OP, Karma. Christmas time while I’m out shopping I always give a hot brews and sandwiches to the homeless. Not out of fear of Karma, but balance ..... if that makes sense

I agree on this

Give out good wherever you can

Seen too many awful people walking around unscathed to believe they do get their karma sadly.

I hope it exists... There's a few people I'd like to see fall from grace.

You'd better hope it doesn't otherwise karma will get you for wishing bad things on other people

Under the Duvet

If the thought karma encourages people to do good stuff and be kinder to each other then it gets a thumbs up from me.

Or three

Exactly this!

Karma is not an avenging force as some seem to think or some great retribution that will befall the bad. If this were the case then 'you' must have done something awful to deserve that person doing 'bad' to you!

Karma is the belief that the universe acts in balance, that for good there is bad and for bad there is good. That good energy breeds good energy and bad, bad. But it is balanced out across the world, it isn't a case of retribution or revenge as so many wronged lovers may wish (which by the way would make you worthy of retribution!)

Incidentally, I have no belief in karma. I was just sharing something that sounded a bit like it.

The nearest to karma I would believe in is the concept that if everybody does good things for those who need it, there will be a greater social expectation that that is the way to behave. If you contribute to that expectation with your actions, you may reap the rewards when you need help.
