I'm going to be cycling to my happy place tomorrow it's about 30-35 miles round trip from torpoint ferry into Cornwall. Coffee and lunch at the cafe then on the beach for a while. Heaven |

"Beach. Preferably on a windy day when it’s lashing it down and there’s not many people about.
"
I love the sea when it crashing against the rocks...just appreciating the sheer power of it and feeling it's energy |

There’s also this hill that me and C visited when we were just starting to ‘see each other’ (big thing considering I was 14). C covered me in grass and we ended up play fighting (still hadn’t even kissed, it was intense). So whenever we were sad or upset we would go back to that hill and chill. We spread our first baby’s ashes there, but I still consider it a ‘happy place’ if that makes any sense |

When I first arrive at my fwbs and he welcomes me with a long indulgent kiss.
Or its when I first wake up in the morning and I don't have to move and I can enjoy my comfy bed |

Scotland
Either Dundee or Carnoustie, I love that I can be in Carnoustie and completely disengaged from the outside world, no wifi or phone signal. Pure heaven |

Dundee is about a five minute drive from me
It’s supposed to be the number one place in Scotland (or is it the UK?) to live! |

You are so lucky! It is a 7 hour drive for me, but even the drive up I love.
Does not surprise me, I look at jobs and houses when I am up, though the company I work for has a branch in Edinburgh. Tempting lol
My fwb keeps saying for me to do it lol xx |

Yes it is, my son is renting a student flat, it is massive with 3 bedrooms, literally in town and the three of them are paying £200 a month each. It is crazy |

My happy place, the place I go to calm things down is an old hollow beech tree, about 300year old.. I can sit inside it or sit in its canopy.. No one else knows of it.. It stands on its own island which its large roots hold in place.. Its been hit by lightening, its had huge sections torn from it but still it survives.. See my pics as I did some arty nudes there. Thats my place |

Ooo, first thing that popped into my head is the yurt I stay in with the grandchildren. It’s on private land on the Gower, the children go feral, I’m just present with them. Perfect.
There’s a skinny mirror in Libs ladies loo that makes me very happy and on my bed with coffee has the same effect.
Lots of happy in my life, I hope you have happy too. |

My personal favourite is being in a theatre watching brilliant performances on stage in the dark, my only problem is I’d love to have my dogs with me as well |

Snowdonia, there's a point where the mountains slowly fall into the Irish sea. On a sunny day, standing on the beach, looking out to sea with the mountains at your back. Perfect. |

El Cotillo on Fuerteventura. However there are lots of places on that island I love. I generally don’t need a happy place as I’m relatively content most of the time. |
