As a youngster did you belong to any organisation outside of school that you really enjoyed?

Me? I was in the ATC and genuinely planned on joining the RAF when i turned 18.. things didn't go to plan but i enjoyed my 2 years in the air cadets. Gave me something to look forward too and a different circle of friends

Sounds like should be off the Wicker Man...can just see Lord SummerIsle encouraging the children to join the woodcraft folk

I was a brownie and a guide, and I went to Sunday School at the Sally Army from about age 5 to 14 or so (think I stopped going when I lost my virginity )

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

Was in the Scouts for a couple of years and went to Army Cadets for one evening but didn`t like it even though I had a go at shooting a 2.2 rifle. Probably should have gone to Air Cadets instead as they did more interesting stuff than the Army Cadets but the Air Cadet`s place was the other side of town.

Just north of Newcastle is a place called Wideopen. Wouldn't it be great to be in the Wideopen Beavers??

I did brownies, guides and then spent 5 years in the ATC. Absolutely loved it - camps are some of the best memories I have.
