How much do you reckon pics play a part in getting meets? I'm swearsome of the photos on here are done by professionals and they are always the most successful, no doubt they're probably just average looking just photogenic

Yes, angles and good lighting can help and knowing how to take photos is never a bad thing but in my experience, the successful people are so because they're attractive, articulate and fun.

I don't think I've ever seen many people complain or belittle their way into people's affections.

I see the pics as an indication as to whether they have a bit of banter and imagination within them - nothing more than fun

Most will show the best sides, you’d do that in normal life pics too. At the end of the day you don’t rock up to a meet naked (well unless meeting in a club or naturist spa)

Who cares if some photos seem professional, if the person has took time and had a shoot done, as it’s something they enjoyed doing it doesn’t matter. In addition it’s also amazing what you can produce with a phone nowadays

Everyone goes off pics lad, if you aren't attracted to someone you aren't going to meet them. The style of pics I don't think matters too much if you are attractive to the person viewing. What you write in your bio and how you conduct yourself on the site( in conversation, status and the forum) matter most though. Its the personality that seals the deal

When i was meeting, photos were the intial lure to get to know someone, but not the only one. If they were good looking but arseholes, no amount of great pics would have made me go there

My photos? Again basic timer and filter I have absolutely no clue after that lol

The op is correct some of the photos look and are taken by somebody who knows what they’re doing but I’ve seen people on here offer photo shoots , so maybe find one of them and get some snaps done

I think it's your definition of good that might be off with most. Imo, I don't think it matter if the photos look prefessionally done or not, but instead that whatever is on show in them looks good to the beholder. I have a girl on my hotlist who's photos look like they were taken from a Nokia 3210, but she still looks crazy hot

I take issue with people who are unable to take responsibility for their own journey on fab. I will help and guide if people ask but whining and whinging because 'others have it better' is just ridiculous.

Asking others to spoon feed what to do, how to approach and what to have on a profile is pointless. Blaming others for their failures and having better photos or for taking the time and effort to actually make themselves attractive to others is childish and moronic.

If people can't work out what works for them, then perhaps this isn't the place for them and no end of complaining or assistance is going to help.

Without them, you wont know if you have a physical attraction in anyway. Not everyone needs that, but most of us do.

You can put a lot of yourself into a photo if you use your noggin'. Are they artistic or creative? Do they have confidence? The stance/pose.. What they aren't showing, text, filters, lighting.. Effort?

You dont need a good camera to do ANY of that yourself. Just get comfy with your own body. Take photos of yourself in lots of varied poses, under different lighting, holding/wearing different things you have or find.

Download a free photo editing app. I use one. I LOVE fucking around with my photos, there are some unfiltered photos of me too though. I usually video chat before meeting.. so filters are irrelevant and it's not as if I'm smoothing wrinkles or misleading someone as to how I really look.

I get compliments on my pics, but I'm not a photographer. I use my Samsung A50 smartphone and Snapseed for editing.

I'm not vain, I feel uncomfortable behind a camera and I am really having a bit of a confidence wobble about de-bearding recently. But FUCK IT.. Own that wobble. It may take you 40 or so shots of the same pose to realise it's not bright enough.. or the camera is too close/far. Those figures will drop, the more knowledge you pick up.

I think photos on a profile are a double edged sword. Yes of course you need them as most of us need a visual to base our first impression on. The problem is that photos can’t catch that cheeky glint in the eye or the laughter lines around a mouth that might attract ya tinrhat oerson in real life. We delete them without ever knowing what they are really like.

Additionally those who have put in time and effort into their photos are ridiculed for being vain or having an unfair advantage by going to a professional... Jealousy and envy are fickle friends. You know what? You can’t win so just do whatever the hell you want to

I use pics to see if I fancy a guy and whether he thinks a few cock pics will get him a meet. If he has no pics, or loads of cock pics, then he’s not for me.
