Newcastle and Gateshead

Well ones that always drag you in regardless of what point in the movie you are..... Good films or craptastic ones!

So when rocky, escape to victory and the Italian job are on... The rest of life is put on hold! Lol

So what films do it for you...

London

I probably watch the following films at least once a year:

A Bridge Too Far

Avatar

12 Angry Men

One flew over the Cuckoos Nest

The Thing (John Carpenter version)

The Longest Day

Where Eagles Dare

Kelly's Heroes

The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy

The very first Star Wars Movie

The Wild Geese

The Long Good Friday

The Shawkshank Redemption

Hillsborough

Wall Of Silence

Rise Of The Footsoldier

Die Hard

Silverado

The Fog (John Carpenter)

Goodfellas

Scarface

This is Spinal Tap

Maybe one Indy movie, but Indy 4 kinda put me off it for life...

I should point out that alot of the time, I will just put these on in the background while I am working, turn to watch my fave bits, then get back to work again (The joys of being a writer full time)

Whats also nice is Mrs Party hasn't seen alot of my fave films, so watching them with her for the first time is nice because you get to watch the emotional journey that you went through in someone else, which is even better if you made the film yourself of course.

It was said that after Bourne, the Bond franchise had to up its game, which is why Casino Royale, has the look and style that it has.
