Sometimes in the street or on TV I’ll hear someone say “I was once...” and my brain fills in with “a weak man”. Then Hattie Jacques replies back with

“Once a week is enough for any man”

Who can possibly hear “Infamy” without hearing Kenneth Williams say “They’ve all got it in for me”?

They’re not exactly great in terms of how women are portrayed and obviously they wouldn’t work now, but some of it was very funny.

Tell me what tickles your fancy?

I know it’s not exactly what you asked for, but Sid Jame’s laugh. He must have the dirtiest laugh ever

Sid James goes up behind Hatti Jacques (a matron) who is leaning over a desk to get something. He grabs her arse. Hatti swings around, gives him an evil stare and says sternly...

"Do you mind?"

And Sid boldly replies with a smirk "As a matter of fact, I don't."

In Carry On Cowboy, I liked this exchange between Jim Dale and (I think) Sid James...

Jim: I know you've been rustling sheep.

Sid: Bullocks.

Jim: I know what I'm talking about.

There and to the left a bit

Funnily enough had the conversation about not being able to hear the word infamy without adding "...they've all got it in for me" with a fellow Fabber the other week

So many good lines, and Carry On is just so underrated IMHO - they're like the film equivalent of a saucy seaside postcard

When guessing a medical condition of Peter butterworth.

You thought it was slipped disc. I'm afraid your were wrong.

You thought it was haemorrhoids. I'm afraid you were wrong. I thought I was going to break wind. I'm afraid I was wrong.

He then shuffles away towards the toilets.

I love that film, my favourite line is “have you seen this ear” and she says “what that there” to Oddbods ear in a tissue

When it’s my turn to make the tea from time to time I’ll say ‘time for a spot of afternoon tiffin’

Plus ‘infamy’ is always a favourite.
