Sometimes in the street or on TV I’ll hear someone say “I was once...” and my brain fills in with “a weak man”. Then Hattie Jacques replies back with
“Once a week is enough for any man”
Who can possibly hear “Infamy” without hearing Kenneth Williams say “They’ve all got it in for me”?
They’re not exactly great in terms of how women are portrayed and obviously they wouldn’t work now, but some of it was very funny.
Tell me what tickles your fancy? |

Barbara Windsor exercise and bra was brilliant
But quote wise there are just so many.
Carry on Emmanuel
Can't remember the characters name:
Why me? You could have Tom, Dick or Harry
Emmanuelle:
I don’t want Tom or Harry! |

Sid James goes up behind Hatti Jacques (a matron) who is leaning over a desk to get something. He grabs her arse. Hatti swings around, gives him an evil stare and says sternly...
"Do you mind?"
And Sid boldly replies with a smirk "As a matter of fact, I don't." |

There and to the left a bit |
Funnily enough had the conversation about not being able to hear the word infamy without adding "...they've all got it in for me" with a fellow Fabber the other week
So many good lines, and Carry On is just so underrated IMHO - they're like the film equivalent of a saucy seaside postcard |

When guessing a medical condition of Peter butterworth.
You thought it was slipped disc. I'm afraid your were wrong.
You thought it was haemorrhoids. I'm afraid you were wrong. I thought I was going to break wind. I'm afraid I was wrong.
He then shuffles away towards the toilets.

"Carry on Screaming.
"Do you mind if I smoke" before Fenella Fielding starts smouldering
"Frying tonight!""
I love that film, my favourite line is “have you seen this ear” and she says “what that there” to Oddbods ear in a tissue |

"Carry on camping the quote pound everything at the camp site cost a pound "
Not to mention the sign when they arrive, asses must be shown. This gives way to the fantastic lines, "Where's the boss?
" Gone for a P"

The Khasi of Kalabar:
May the great God Shivoo bring blessings on your house.
Sir Sidney Ruff-Diamond:
And on yours.
The Khasi of Kalabar:
And may his radiance light up your darkness.
Sir Sidney Ruff-Diamond:
And up yours. |
