Exactly that - same with any hyperlink on the net - before you click on it, it's blue, once you have clicked on it changes to purple
Only way to clear it is to clear your cache |

I think so too. Purple usually indicates you have clicked and viewed at some point 
I know I've viewed people but all are blue on ours "
There may be a time thingy on it, if you have looked recently. Or if you clear all your history regularly then may clear it |
