I block soooooo many people.
Sometimes for being cunts, sometimes just cos I'm not interested. Often they don't even need to send a message, I'll block to prevent it lol
Its nothing personal, just saves some of the shit I get...nah, that's a lie, I still get shit daily  |

I just dont block people ever. Never found the need to.
But if others wish to permenantly close doors then it's their choice. It's why the block button exists. |

It depends on the reason I'd block them. If it's a creepy message I instantly block, if they keep mailing despite my no reply I sometimes just wait and see how many they'll send before giving up, unless they get rude then I block. |

Failing to read my profile is the number 1 reason for getting a block.
I know it's I'm hiding right now. I have my reasons.
But when it's not in hiding it clearly states what I'm after and what I'm about... |

Far too many on our block list! I once blocked a couple cause I didn’t like their profile or profile name. Turns out we went to their house for a party and they were the most loveliest people you could ask to meet! Oops |

We block people who push their luck over several messages. If they haven't got the idea we're not interested after three messages or start telling us we're being picky or have an attitude problem (as has happened) then they get blocked.
People who get blocked immediately are ones who send an unsolicited friend request or send a blunt message that shows they don't give a shit about us, who we are, what we are looking for and what's in it for us if we meet them.
To avoid being completely negative, anybody who sends us a polite message and avoids these pitfalls then we'll send a polite message back, whether we are interested or not. |

Hardly any on ours.
My single profile list was massive. I gave no fucks on that at all and was generally ruthless.
If I had no interest in meeting I'd block
If their status update was whinging I'd block
Didn't like the pic content - block
Crass message? - reply with venom then block

Yep. Stops some of the buggers from potentially unblocking you when you are offline, for a quick nosey, then blocking again

There was a similar thread a couple of weeks ago asking about friend hot and block lists were used by people
My response on the block still stands

I'm much more block-happy than I used to be, as it saves everyone a lot of time/hassle. It may even sometimes get others to question what they're doing and potentially to modify their attitude and behaviour 
I just block when I'm sure that there's no hope, whether it's after one thing that's happened or 101. |

I block after 2days if no reply and they have read or looked at profile and some I block because I'm not interested in them so bloke but load's of reasons people block |

my block list is extensive for various reasons, ladies looking for $$$, people that I don't find attractive or are into things that aren't for me, peeps with veris that are a little less than enticing and people I don't think I would get on with socially. I find it slims down the updates list quite a bit |

My block list is huge. I block if a message is crap because the guy hasn’t read my profile, nasty or tacky profile names, keeps viewing my profile but doesn’t have a profile themselves, behaves badly in forums or deliberately antagonises people. I’m a serial blocker |
