So 2 different angles on this would you be more likely to message or reply to a profile where your impressed by the pictures but not the text or impressed by the text but unsure on the pictures ??
Now I know some will just say neither as both must be of interest I’m just asking more likely ?
I’m definitely more text than pictures these days but was more picture focused previously |

Pictures first, if they entice me, I'll reply.
If pictures aren't great, but the text enticed me to reply, I'll ask for a better picture. I've still gotta fancy the person.
If the pic's and text don't entice me, it gets filed into the B1N |

I am more likely to go for pics I like and no or limited text, usually... If someone I like the look of has certain things in their bio, that can put me off them, or if they talk a certain way even. A great bio from someone I don't fancy at all, is also a no from me |

The pictures are what catches my eye, if those are really not enticing then no matter what the text is I'm probably already a lost cause.
Saying that though if I get speaking to someone via the forums or chat room then their profile doesn't matter, I've met people with no text or pics at all. |

Really good point regarding the forums i would say 90% of my decent conversations in messages have come from people using this part of the site. We all have instant turn off me more than most |

I'd look at the pics first, if it's all cock shots I don't even bother, if there's no pics & bare minimum text again I won't bother. I think everyone looks slightly different in person to their pics so I don't base it all solely on those, if a message is witty Im likely to reply whatever a profile shows |

The "dont judge the book by the cover " could certainly apply to this thread ...on personal experience ,l saw a profile of a totally stunning lady ( in my opinion ).. sent a nice Message to her ,she replied but when got chatting ,she was all about her material possessions so a huge turn off straight away ..big time ..and then a lady that didn't have the same physical features as the former mentioned but was still really attractive totally blew my mind in everyway and anyway ..so to me ..stimulate the mind and the body automatically follows...big time .. |

I evaluate everything I can before considering a reply. Message, then attachments, then profile text, then pictures. I only reply if all, in total, make me feel it's on balance worth it. But it's in that order and if any are well below what I'm looking for, delete. |

Pictures catch my eye but the text has to catch my attention too. I like to be able see a bit of personality in the text other wise I'm likely to pass it by. |

Depends on pic.. There are some outstanding erotic pics on here and often if I see them I ll complement them.. Kinda love the arty pics... But in general I will read text |

If its not that inspiring i check profile text.. if it matches the message i don't respond .. no amount of pretty pictures would make me change my mind either! |

How someone expresses themselves in words be it profile, or forum (where there are greater opportunities to do so and with others so interaction can be observed), is what pulls me in.
Looks are far less important to me. |

It’s usually something they’ve said on the forums.
If I’m browsing profiles then it’s how they come across there; it can be how the pictures are taken as well as the text.

Photos first, then I check the profile for anything that would suggest we’re not compatible. If I like the photos and there is little text to go on, I’ll see how the messages go. Ultimately messaging each other is the decider.
I also find that the quality of the pictures are not correlated with how well we connect. |

If I’m searching, I’m looking at pics. When I find pics I like I thoroughly read the profile. If I don’t like the profile I move on.
It does have to be both but the pics are what is going to catch my attention.
So not 20 varied angles of a cock, no matter how proud you are of it

If I notice someone on the forum, it's equally possible that it was either their avatar or their humour that caught my eye.
But when it comes to my mailbox, I don't notice avatar photos as much, my eye is drawn to their words. If I can read a full message from my mailbox summary without having to even open it, I'm unlikely to reply. You'd be amazed how many use a one line introduction and then wonder why their messages are deleted 'unread'. They weren't unread... They were just so short that we didn't have to open them.... The full message was visible on the summary, and was probably identical to the 20 messages above and below it. |

Pictures, there's got to be attraction and not everyone is good at writing a good profile. messaging/chatting or forum interaction help fill in the missing text...but you look how you look! |
