Some might remember me some might not.
I have a gambling problem which has left me single again and I thought I had control of it but didn't I am not putting this on here for sympathy just need somewhere to express myself. I find I just can't get the words out when talking to people I know I just say yes I'm fine no problems at all. The thought of doing something to myself has ran through my head but wouldn't do it while my parents are still alive. Don't think to be honest I have it in me anyway. Just thought I would say hello and hope everyone is doing good and having fun |

What you bet on I used to have a bad roulette addiction but slowly got away from it after about 8 years

Hey man.... sorry to hear you are having a tough time. Gambling issues are tough but its at least a start that you recognise it.
Probably not saying anything that you havent already heard but make sure you get proper professional help. Honestly its not realistic to think you can control it by yourself. There is loads of help out there and loads of others going through exactly the same thing. So dont feel you are alone!!
Last point I would say is whilst I totally understand the fact you say you are fine to the people closest to you.... and I get it as I have been the same in the past. However they are close to you and asking for a reason. They care deeply for you and genuinely want to help. So try to open up.... let them know how you really feel. They might not know how to respond straighy away... but in the long run it will be a huge help to you and bring you even closer. You need their help when times are toughest so dont lock it away to fester deep inside.

Here is as good a place as any to find people to talk to. We may not be able to help with the addiction, but can defo show you people care and look out for one another in times of need

Hi ok. Are you going to gamblers anon. Also are you getting help with your debts. It can be sorted. Not easy and wil take time but you xan. Good luck and start to look at the help out there. No addiction is easy to overcome |

I understand you wanting to do it alone but there is no shame in asking for help. I mean it. There are organisations out there just for that and their only interest is helping you get over that addiction.
Give them a go.

Speaking as someone whose first marriage broke up on part due to gambling addiction if you don't want to get help for your own sake seek it for the sake of those around you.

Thanks for all the messages means alot I'm going to leave the site now as nobody has wanted to meet I've been on and off for years so giving up but all I wanted to say was thanks for the support your all very kind |
