I was at Uni when they released Love Cats and bumped into them a few times. There were a few songs I liked but they never interested me enough to follow them. |

Que the dj rapidly fading it back out to some cheesy pop.

I think the acts that headline have been pretty awful in recent years . I’d id paid nearly £300 for tickets I’d want top acts every night.
The killers were ok with their first few albums but became too pop . The Cure were ok in the day what have they done recently
Kylie pure pop
As for Stormzy how can he headline
Foo fighters aside a few years ago
There’s no real rock acts
Id rather AC/DC or Guns n Roses the Who
Or stones even at their age they wipe the floor with this years lot

Yeah, unlike DC, GnR, The Who and The Stones; what have The Cure done lately?
Glastonbury is all about inclusion these days, I think what you're looking for is the luddite festival. |

I've really enjoyed watching the coverage offered on BBC iPlayer.
Best highlight, Chemical Brothers, totally bonkers, and those visuals! Just wow!
Disappointment, Stormzy. So many of my friends raving about this guy, telling me I was in for a treat. All I saw was an angry young man ranting and raving energetically, but chatting the same old tripe put out by his peers before him. |

Saw them last year I think- watched for 20 minutes then went for a cup of tea instead (did the same with Paul Macartney- way past his use by date)
Also had the misfortune to witness the earlier mention Liam Gallagher a couple of years ago, who should have called his tour the Eric Morcombe Experience....all the right notes, just not necessarily in the right order- and the crowd on the whole were fucking obnoxious!
The only recently newish act that has any sort of originality and fire i can think of would be Kate Tempest- most of the other stuff i get to watch is a bit 'Meh! they sound like [insert band name] who i saw supporting [other band] in the 80's/90's'

Her Glasto set was wonderful. Did a quick 10 minutes of odds and sods, then the whole of The Book of Traps and Lessons.
Many tens of thousands of folk listening spellbound to this young woman's poetry. Wonderul. |

Kate Tempests set was the highlight of a great weekend for me, the blistering temperatures meant I didn't get to see as much as I'd hoped to but still had a fantastic time.
Stormzy isn't my cup of tea musically but I thought he smashed it.
Didnt catch all of the Killers but they were on top form too for the end of their set.
And the Cure were brilliant but the seemed a little bit flat for me.
Gerry Cinnamon had the best atmosphere of the weekend, the crowd was bouncing before he even got on stage.
Looking forward to watching it back on

Still catching up!
The fantastic Courteeners put up their usual slick live performance even if I am rather biased towards them.
Got another favourite in two door cinema club to watch next and have already heard great feedback for their performance |
