When speaking to other people it's best to try to speak to them in a way that they can understand.
I would say that goes for foreign languages too, except for Chinese, don't mess with that language!
They have so many Xs in that thing, X this X that!

No wonder them people are having so many children!
Having said that, if you will now excuse me and I can get on with the rest of my day.

I was attempting to make a joke and learnt something new myself. It seems the Chinese don't use an alphabet but have letters as sounds. For us to pronounce the Chinese x it seems we would have to retrain our mouths to make the sound. You will have to Google the rest, I told you it was complex!
The reason I used the letter x is because I've seen it at the beginning of a Chinese place name, which is strange to us over here.
The XXX is a reference to sex which produces children. I could say there is an x somewhere within all those Chinese characters but that was not my thinking in the original post. |
