OK, folks. What is this all about? We get a wink from a couple and we message them back saying thanks and hope this leads to a meeting. Then what happens, we get nothing back, message read but no response. So what is the "wink" all about?  |

I had a friend invite from a couple, i looked at their profile and quite liked what i saw so i messaged them, a polite and respectful message i have to say. Didnt hear anything back then got blocked.
No skin of my nose but why waste my time? |

Maybe the wink means something short of them wanting to meet you. Maybe they saw something in your profile they liked like photos or comments they liked, but that's all. Jumping to "I hope we get to meet you" could be way further down the road than anything they had in mind.
Have you ever complimented somebody and that was it? Would it always mean you wanted to go and hang out with somebody?
Winks are vague and mean different things to different people. I would guess in this case it simply meant something different to them to what you hoped. |
