What has to be the creepiest imagery you have seen in a horror movie?

For me, it would have to be that creepy St Sebastian statue in the movie Carrie. Holy shit that thing is creepy with the way it's eyes are all light up.

There have been quite a few that have creeped me out, often though from really schlocky films that were quite shite but that one moment was 'right on the money'.

Pet Sematary where the Mum comes back unexpectedly to find the girl at home and it is just the way the Dad says "hug your Daughter" ugh ugh ugh! And when he is brushing her hair in the bath and he finds the staples in the back of her head!

And the heads start screaming and her headless body wakes up. Damn that definitely is creepy as well as horrifying.

That was Tim Curry - one of my favourite actors. The young actor who was playing the child said to him 'Tim I don't like you when you are in the drain! You're scaring me!!' Lol He was scary though!

Hereditary scene when the lad wakes up from sleep close the end end... and there's something at the corner of the screen that you don't see straight away.. then you realise what it is... That gave me major shivers.

I watched the original alien film at 9 years old, the first time it got one of the crew scared the shit out of me! More recently a film called dark skies, an alien pops into view behind the mother for a second when she is searching for her kid, sent a real shiver down my spine.

For me it's the 'crucifix' scene from The Exorcist. Still can't belive it was allowed to be screened.

Speaking of Return to Oz, the scene where they arrive at the emerald city in ruins and everyone turned to stone does have this sense of unease and creepyness.

Just remembered another creepy one from the original Child's Play movie when Chunky gets shot in the heart and his head says the creepiest line as he dies while his voice goes from his adult voice to the dolls voice.

"Hi, I'm chucky. Wanna plaaaaaaAAAAAAAaaaaaayyyy"

Whilst the film Insidious isn't all that great, that bit with the face when they're eating dinner is pretty creepy!

Also the demon face in the exorcist as well.
