Have any forumites been able to begin living healthily after 30?

If so, what were your motivations?

How did you start?

What changes did you make?

How much of an impact did it have on how you looked and felt?

I ask because I'm skinny and I am scared of not being healthy and the impact of not exercising compounding as I age into serious health complications.

Besides this I feel practically invisible to women these days and I'd like to regain my confidence as well as brighten my mood.

Yes.

Serious injury with lifelong implications I want(ed) to minimise.

Got professional help. Pricey but in my case worth it.

From my high point weight wise I'm down 4-5 dress sizes, I'm visibly muscular, I'm fit, my life is so much better. I've gone from a reluctant occasional gym goer to forcing myself to take time off. And I'm doing a lot better than predicted injury wise.
