Do anyone have advice on insomnia ive had it for a few months now and its doing my head in apart from sleeping tablets is there anything else i can try

Try to wear you out before going to bed ... Working out, biking or running. Then go back home, set a ritual. Having a bath then drinking herbal tea and reading a book or watching TV.

Arhhhh it's a nitemare, if your suffering often then you need to root out why.....your brain even though your tired is still working overtime, stresses of life etc....

Mood lighting, warm drinks.....train your brain to switch off, usually writing things down helps stop them from rattling around your head....

I have a sleeping app that plays white noise. That often does the trick to get me off to sleep.

You can get some really good meditation/sleep apps and podcasts. I find they work for me most of the time. They help to clear your brain and relax you.

Audiobooks work for me too.
