East Cumbria

We are a genuine couple living in the North and are looking into visiting their first club together (neither of us have been to one, even separately). Which clubs are best for beginners and any advice would be appreciated. Happy swinging

I've not been to any clubs outside of London, but as for advice, it's v simple, go with your agenda, don't let others sway you from what you want and your reason for being there. If you go to a mixed night, guys and couples, be prepared to have the meerkats follow you around, you'll get the reference if you go. But most importantly, be open minded, you never know what might happen when the mood takes you both, so be open to it.

Thanks for that. So would you say it would be better to go on a couples and single ladies only night?

Hefty Hideaway

Think about what you want to get out of a club and check the club reviews page for clubs that fit your needs.

I love busy, bustling clubs so I look for party nights in the Events forum.

However if I was looking for a quieter pace I’d check out midweek or daytime events.

Having tried most clubs in the North West I can recommend SX in Blackpool for the busy party vibe.

For any club my advice is to get clued upon the rules. Discuss between you what you want to get out of it. Go and enjoy! They’re generally relaxed places full of lovely people.
