Good evening Friends Fabbers and Forumites.

It's been one of those days today . I've not been my usual jolly self .

I took myself off for a rather splendid yet soggy wander . It was so good to be out in the woods . Perfect for reflection and seeing nature in its most gloriousness .

I also had some wonderful messages from.some splendid friends.

They all made me smile ( thank you x )

So chums , share with the group , what's made you jolly well smile today

Taff

You're such a happy and upbeat guy and I love it!

I went for a very long walk and visited family and had some fun in the (hidden) sun. It wasn't very soggy here, but I would have preferred a long soggy wander in the woods I'm going to have a roast dinner soon so that's something else to be happy about!

I hope you have a lovely evening Taff

Hillside desolate

This thread has made me smile, so did getting my hair done, realising its my last week at work then I'm off for a fortnight, my daughter acting like a total mini me during dinner, birds fighting over the crusts in the garden, and having a really productive clear out of my wardrobe

I came out of the gym this morning and in front of me there was a guy holding the hand of a little girl who must have been 5 or 6. She was skipping along and I noticed she had a unicorn headband on with little ears and a horn. She was shaking her head and trotting along and I think she was ‘being’ a unicorn and her dad (I assume) was smiling and letting her skip and gallop and basically indulging her little game. It made me smile hugely it was so cute

Today was not a smiley day for me either, but tomorrow will be a completely different ball game. Or is game of balls?

My daughter telling me about her memories of being little and how she loved that I acted daft with her. She said her favourite ones were when it was raining and I picked her up from school and on the way home we'd find all the puddles and jump in them x

It made me smile. I remember an old woman laughing and saying we'd brightened her day up cos she usually saw parents dragging their kids away from the puddles, not racing to them to soak each other x

Spent a bit of time this Morning/afternoon adding colours into Missy's hair and then managed to find the time to trim mine this afternoon! Good to spend some time on yourselves from time to time! We don't get much time what with family and work!

I've been lucky enough to spend the afternoon with amazing company. An afternoon with no fancy frills. Bean bags, grass and lunch with innocent actions but naughty thoughts and a train ride i wont forget.

this smile will last me all week!

I’ve had a great day, spent a wonderful day at the RA summer exhibition. Had a wonderful chat with and elderly lady discussing Banksy. She loved Banksy and just kept laughing at the art. Her happiness and enthusiasm was infectious.

Today was a great day tomorrow will be better!
