spiders I can cope with.....even rats don'y worry me too much, although I don't thinks I'd like to be stuck anywhere with loads of the the furry little blighters.....I don't like wasps or earwigs, but wouldn't say I'm frightened of them. There's only one thing I can think of that really makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck and gives me the absolute shudders and an almost uncrontrolable urge to run as fast and as far as I can...and that is........daleks.
And yes, before anyone starts....I do know they are not real...just trumped up egg boxes with a man inside them...but it makes no difference....am phobic about them.... 'orrible effin things |

I am terrified of rats and mice, the cat brought one into the house once, luckily he ripped its head off after a few minutes but I've been exceptionally jumpy after that episode, to the point that I have to look through windows etc to _iew the cat before he's allowed into the house.
I'm also frightened of circus clowns.
I like masks though, especially venetian masks |

not quite sure the mouse thought of himself as 'lucky' |

I'm terrified of spiders - had to get the neighbour to deal with a massive one that turned up in my room a few months back.
Plus not too keen on statues and masks - specially the "human statues" - I can't walk past them and if any of them ever tried to make me part of the act (you know, when they tap someone on the shoulder or something equally hilarious) I'd just have to knock them out. Yeurch.... |

Clowns used to scare the shizzle out of me, not a fan of flying either (i'd feel alot better if they give me a parachute!)
Thing that scares me most is not succeeding in life, being single and having a shit job when i'm about 45, oh and Cauliflower Cheese EEEW |

in the early days of commercial aviation, passengers were supplied with parachutes
it was one of the early american carriers that stopped supplying them, which did cause some outrage at the time, but as history tells us, we got over that (well, some of us did anyway )
nowadays sadly it is a case of economics - they add weight which adds cost
plus of course, airplanes today are the safest they have ever been |
