When I (Luke) moved out from my parents house many years ago, I ended up getting rid of my TV. I only ended up with a TV again because my ex wanted one. Now that relationship is over, I am without a TV again and that's just the way I like it.
I can't stand reality TV and I'm not a fan ob sci fi. I hope that answers your question.  |

I hoped that was clear from my answer, but I'd sooner watch the worst sci fi than the best reality TV.
I'm pleased we've not advanced to the stage where reality sci fi is possible. |

lol there is MARS, it's sci-fi but without the aliens and warp travel etc stuff-not really my type of programme though as its more a docu on the premise of being on mars. |

I could barely get past the first episode of david tennant's new Good Omens.I might give it a try later...but ffs it was horrendous. |

Netflix has a good selection, I watched 'Mother' last night about a post apolyptic world with the human race starting with one person. Great stuff! P.S. I don' watch TV anymore. |

I actually hate some of netflix's shite sci-fi's-some I wouldn't even give the time of days.I deleted my account.
I hate arty sci-fi that tries too hard to be arty. The film Monsters(about a couple trying to get back to a walled USA after a alien monster invasion)was utter tripe.The sequel was better though.
Some post-apocalyptic sci-fi has a single person walking about in woods/desert doing fuck all, with plinky piano tunes playing with no plot or outcome..just lots of arty shots. |

it was OK..but cheap.
you can watch lots of youtube scifis from DUST, they are shorts,but with somewhat the same budget as 'Mother'. |

termitaor just after firely...summer lau9think thats her name is gorgeous)...serenity was firelys greatest..i still think the whole series could have continued.
these days it's all about marketing, nathan blahblah was a great roll in from other series then they decided they wanted new people..less gender stereotyped and what u get a flat experience.
Narrative is the key, even Deep Space Nine got this right,with jadzia dax being a prominent multitransexualentity.
Some episodes help this character but they were never in ur face and to a point non affecting to the story.

I don't mind a bit of Gogglebox, but that's about it for reality TV. Much is scripted and not real, the situations not real, or those who are on them act so differently because they are being filmed and are chosen because of their looks or are told to basically have sex on screen it's bad for all concerned. Crap sci fi you can laugh at and some is so bad it's good. You can go as cheesy or as dark as you like. I still like the Sam Neil film where the ship has been to hell. Dark and cool film |

Oh Legion is back...unsure if this really is any better than Marvels worst(Inhumans).Sure it's arty and wacky, but it's shit.
