Maybe ask yourself if your profile is appealingto those you want to meet.
I cannot offer you profile advice, since you haven'y asked for it, but I'd start there. |

I've had responses of "not my type" "too old" (I was 45, she was 44 ) "too young" "too close to where they live" (5 miles away) "too far away " (20 miles and I'm willing to drive) "too single" (FFS) and the all too common BS "not meeting anyone" (then see veris of meets after) |

Ask yourself additionally who am I sending a message to? What have they written on their profile and do you fit it? Are they specific in their needs which you do not match? Are you just being desperate or overwhelmed by their Fab fame? Are they arrogant twats? You know they won’t answer. In other words. Be a bit more selective when deciding who to message. |

Maybe they are trying to be kind in their rejection, by making excuses...though they could be valid reasons

"Perhaps they're looking for someone to wine/ dine/ romance/seduce them into bed, not change their ht leads."
Hahaha! Romance a woman into bed. I knew that I was doing something wrong. Rather more pretentious than my user name is it not?
Op, I’d think it was rather self-explanatory was it not? There’s not much to be had from this website: unless of course gay men seeking “straight” men is your preference. I advise that you pop in to your local club and try your chances there. I’m a young dude and rarely get a message back here. Clubs are a bunch of fun though.
Good luck |

I wouldn’t call ‘too single’ (wtf does that even mean?) nor ‘too old’ a Legit response (they’re roughy the same age). |

I think men under 30 are too young for me, even though I’m 22....so too old thing could totally be legit
Too single - maybe they prefer to meet married men because they are also married and playing away? (I know people who do this) |

It's a tough gig for guys here. To make it less tough (in general terms) you need to market yourself as positively and appealingly as possible to the people you're looking for (without being boring, you still have to be yourself).
(this is general advice, not specific to anyone) |

Yes, I get it in that circumstance, though, she was 44 and he 45. I guess In that case a no reply beats the reply, there’s no wonder he’s feeling a little confused. |

If she's looking for a younger guy (because age preferences/ age play exist) then 45 is probably way too old. Can't know. |

The single girl I got the "too single" reply from actually stated in her profile "no married or attached men". I put it down to her (him?) being a time waster. |

Agree
Also, when mailing folk, be sure that you're in their age range, etc., nothing worse that having yet another guy ignore your preferences and introduce himself like he expects to be the exception. It happens a lot!
But on the plus side... At least people are replying to you saying you're not their type. Most guys starting these kind of threads here do so because they can't even get a reply! |

Maybe you could ask yourself the same question ., Not everybody is everyone's "type" , maybe you have seen/read a profile and thought " not my type " so you don't message , however , if this person then messaged you , how would you reply ? |

You will always be somebody's type. It's just a hard graft for single men on here. Fab is not the real world and the male/female ratio is crazily swung in the women's favour. So I doubt you need to send an application off to the Undatebles
