I don't like covers usually as I'm an Elton fan and don't like when people cover or sample usually but if there's one cover I'd say ub40 red wine, better than Neil diamond's version. |

My favourite ever song is Creep
Until a few days ago I would have Scala & Kolacny brothers did the best cover.
But a friend introduced me to PostModernJukebox, their version with Hayley Reinhart on vocals actually made me cry! |

"Ice ice baby by marty Ray

Unreal voice.
His cover of post malone - fall apart is insane! Love that song but somehow post malone butchers his own song. "
I couldn't agree more. |

"GNR - Live and Let Die ..
Better than the original in my humble opinion "
Having watched Sir Macca and GNR both do it live I would certainly agree with you. |

"JH - All Along The Watchtower "
Frank Marino did a ‘copy’ Cover version of this. He thought Hendrix version so perfect that it couldn’t be improved on. I’m a Marinohead, so enjoy his version more but I appreciate that I’m likely to be in an incredibly small minority here |

Most of UB40s big hits have been covers, though the original is usually very obscure. Probably the ultimate cover is Barry Manilows Mandy, though he changed the name and lyrics from Brandy to Mandy. |

Some good calls in here. It's easy to forget that All Along the Watchtower was Dylan. Hendrix made it his own.
Johnny Cash, The Mercy Seat. Just for a change. The piano at the end...
The Muppets, New York State of Mind. Because Muppets. It's way better than the original.
A.J Holmes and the Hackney Empire, A13 Trunk Road to the Sea. I don't need a reason.
The Unthanks, Sea Song
I have a video from a late 80s Australian TV show with a collection of covers of Stairway to Heaven. There's a brilliant one by a Beatles tribute act. |

Nothing specific springs to mind, but pretty much any Dylan cover.
I think he's a great songwriter but a truly dreadful singer so it's only when someone covers one of his songs that it reveals it's true potential. |
