By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

I treat myself to something on a Saturday if I’ve had a good week , you know sticking to the eating healthy malarkey

I consider a good week - any weight loss no matter how small and the fact I’ve survived

So ... I’ve been looking forward to crusty bread , I cut it , buttered it and ate it

Disappointment

You know just feeling when you’re so excited about something and it happens and you’re like ‘ well that wasn’t worth the hype ‘

Bit like the bollocks on here sometimes ...

Ha! Kind of.... a definite bad taste left in my mouth.

It’s always good to try new “foods” and even better findings ones that taste amazing and are actually good for you.

I'm almost always dissappointed by planned nights out.

Especially NYE Christmas Eve etc ..

I prefer spontaneity.

It's life isn't it? You hype things up and sometimes they don't match up. I've only experienced it once on fab luckily - I'm probably the disappointing piece of bread.

Stuff like New Year’s Eve always promises so much but I agree, it usually doesn’t deliver.

This morning I treated myself to doing some hoovering, emptied the dust out afterwards and even cleaned the hair out of the spinning bit. It was everything I dreamed it would be, and more

Boiled eggs and soldiers better than poached eggs more satisfying to dip and puts a smile on your face

Don't be too unsettled by the disappointment of the crusty bread - remember, there are always two sides to disappointment.

I need to treat myself massively this weekend, and will...

It's because your mindset is diet for whatever reason and the bread was kinda cheating so even though it may have tasted nice your brain wouldn’t let you enjoy it

I have this now with a guy I met on here about 10 years ago

We met several times over a 3 year period and tbh it was always great

He still looks great now (infact, better) and asks me for a meet every month or so, but I feel like it just wouldn't be the same

7 years have passed, I've changed, he will have too

I can't help thinking it would be a disappointment

I'd sooner hold on to the occasional sexy thought about the old meets

P.S. Any left over crusty bread, send it my way. Thank You
