You’ve just had your very own rose grown for you, it’s been cultivated by expert growers and it’s now your turn to name it.
What colour is it, does it have a scent and what are you calling your rose?

"I was going to answer but I couldn't think of a witty name . I would be a deep scarlet rose with a heady perfume though. "
I thought that you’d probably be a good rose cultivator. Do you have roses almost your other horticultural efforts? |

It would be deep purple or black I think. It's name would be desire and it would probably smell like the perfume "Poison"
I'm gonna ask B what he thinks

Yes and they're beautiful at the moment. One pink one which cost £1:79 in Aldi is just gorgeous and loaded with blooms. Another a friend gave me on my 60th is also pink , there are two peach coloured tea roses and a red climber.
Bet you're glad you asked |

I've been cordially invited to read only this question and answer accordingly before reading her comment by my marvellous OH, so here goes...
The rose is a cross-cultivated specimen with red, black and white petals. It has an earthy yet sweet scent to it and is called the Chezling...

I like the old fashioned double blooms..
Mine would be called hedonism and would be a deep pink fading to pale pink on the inside..
The perfume would be sweet but not sickly |

Roses are my favourite flowers, I would like a violet coloured one abd I would call it Pamela Rose, after my Mum. Her favourite flowers were roses too, and her surname was actually Rose lol |

Oooooh Desire! My mum used to wear poison perfume before going out out, it’s a scent I associate with having babysitters and watching movies. |

Similarly as above, deep purple or bluish/black would be the colours I'd like. It would have a great scent, be gentle to touch but with a thorny stem. As for the name, I'd call it The Swinders Passion(The Hookers Lips is already taken) |

Yellow with red tips. Traditionally these symbolise falling in love. David Austin does one called Tequila Sunrise that has a heavenly scent.
As to what I’d call it? Sorry, we don’t reveal our true names on the forum. |

My rose would be light, almost white but not quite, a pinkish glow to it. It would smell like Chloe perfume. Fresh and pure.
Cant think of a name for it though |

Mine would be like our native dog rose. A bit scruffy and nondescript hiding in a hedge, until it blooms profusely with those wonderful single flowers and fills the evening air with their delicate scent. |
