Well the bulb is the fascination, not the fitting. I’ve got both types as have various light fittings.

"Not so much a new fascination so much as an ever increasing longing to be by the sea. It's frequently on my mind it seems.

The urge to just get on a small sailing boat and live on the ocean safe from humans is a real desire of mine. I’ve always thought death by drowning in the ocean would be my preference.

That sounds so cool

We would love to live in the Canadian wilderness in a log cabin and using bushcraft skills to survive.

I would have a canoe to travel to pick up the essential supplies when needed.

Let’s all run away!"

Are we starting a commune....fabstock?

It’s looking that way and in true wildernesses style we will live miles apart but get together around the campfire every month for an outdoors social with the northern lights illuminating us almost as much as our chat

That sounds rather pessimistic but it really isn't..."

What do you mean?

People fascinate me, always curious to hear their story, who they are, where did they come from? Experiences, behaviours and what makes them tick?

I guess it's just a quest to find stimulation and a life worth living.

We tend to go about our lives getting the jobs people want, going the places people want and collecting the things people want.

But more often than not, at least for me, if I am totally honest...looking myself in the mirror...those things weren't as good as they are "supposed to be" or worth it.

So what actually is going to matter....what is going to make my memoirs or are my memoirs just going to be a facade too...

It was cool the last time I decorated, well, it still is, but I guess I've just tired of it and fancy a change

I once had a friend say to me 'no one would have a clue about you liking cock, unless they saw how excited you get around cushions'

Let’s go interior design pretend shopping! I adore it. But I’m judgey as hell.

Mythology and folklore and superstitions and material culture. I've been reading Rites of Passage and find it absolutely fascinating.

Sunderland

Being someone who lives by the sea I spend soooo much time there and all things about it fascinate me. We currently have a load of dolphins playing around the beach.

My recent interest has been around breakwater armour units and why different shaped ones are used in different places. How they’ve developed. So very dull I know and not quite as exotic as standing watching the dolphins or following the rips but there you have it
