I have been talking everyday to a man i met on a sex site for 8 months, we have recently met and it was amazing, so much so that we are considering going into a relationship and giving meeting other people up.
Do you think this could work? is it possible to meet and have a normal relationship that started on a sex site? |

Its like any relationship, if you try hard and are happy then it works. It depends also if you intend to still play with others? and if so are you both happy with this?

There will be no playing with others, he is happy for me to stay on here to chat and i trust him. We are quite realistic about things just dont want to go into something that may not work.. |

If it is a new relatioship then you need time for that relationship to blossom without others and to build foundations if you are both honest with what both of you want then go for it and good luck. |

you never get any guarantees for any relationship, even if people (strangers on the internet) tell you it could work or not.
Trust your own instincts. If it feels right, go for it! It's great that you have met someone special, so enjoy it!

Finding someone special can happen anywhere. It's all about being attracted to each other, being honest and developing trust - the same in any relationship.
Only thing you have to get straight is the answer to the inevitable question of 'so, where did you two meet then?'  |

Yes i think it is possible, there are a lot on here that will testify to that.
What i dont think you can do is come on a swingers site just looking for the right person as so many just want nsa.

to be totally honest i wouldnt have a relationship with someone i met off here, but i know many who have, some its worked for some it hasnt, like anything in life i guess
If its what you want them go for it, what have you got to loose? |

Its quite possible to have a normal relationship after meeting on a sex site
I personally know two couples who were singles that met through fab forums they were all regular forum posters
They are now no longer on site and living a very happy life
(im still in occasional contact with one set and they are loving it) 
Could i give it up? or would i expect someone to give it up for me?
No personally not

The pessimist in me says that yes you can develop a monogomous relationship with someone you met on a sex site but go in with your eyes wide open because if you are living miles apart you have no way of knowing if the other is keeping to the bargain. A lot of men don't like their partner shagging other men whilst he is happy to continue putting it about. What the eyes don't see, the heart doesn't grieve over.

As long as you're honest about how you feel, what you want and what you want from the relationship then the fact you met here shouldn't matter. There are couples out there who meet "normally" and break up after a few weeks!
