I’ve been getting a lot of abusive messages recently when rejecting someone, how do you all cope with it? I block but I can’t help feeling angry and pissed off

Hillside desolate

I stopped sending polite rejections, and now get no more abusive replies.

Block them after sending your rejection.

Problem solved

From a single guys perspective? If you aren’t interested, then block the guy (that way he knows) and then delete the message.

I think that’s what I’m going to have to do, I try and be polite about my rejection but that doesn’t help

Agree with pocket rocket, if you prefer to send a polite rejection just block straight after..

If you really want to be proactive: Block all single guys and send the first message out yourself to people you are interested in.

I get this everyday, and sometime I get it just randomly, it’s sad that adults can be like this, sad society we live in

Find it odd that people can't deal with rejection and turn into keyboard warriors all of a sudden. Probably after sending an initial message that makes them out to be a nice guy

Feel sorry for them, rather than being angry, they obviously have issues and deserve sympathy. Also, your anger only hurts you.

If I sent a message and received a polite decline, I wouldn't see the point in being abusive. It achieves nothing, just accept the other persons decision and move on.

That really isn’t how a huge majority of people’s brains work, though, on here

I don't reject anyone, I just delete their messages if I'm not interested. Been on here 18 months, it works for me, never had an abusive message

Don't even bother responding. I dont anymore, an awful lot less abuse now. Remember faq section states no reply means no interest. It's not rude despite what the entitled people on here say. Always report abuse and block the sender.
