"I had a fish dinner tonight starting with an oyster. Last time I had them I definitely woke next day harder.
Aphrodisiac or not?
Suspect the aphrodisiac is the mind."
Or in the bum. |

I went on a date once. Bloke took me Brighton (flash git) and he insisted on buying me oysters despite me telling him that a) they taste like how I imagine pickled brains in aspic taste and b) I'm allergic to seafood. He paid about £40 quid for this bowl of snot in shells. Man was a dick head. He implied that I was lying and that these oysters would change my mind blah blah blah...
Once the projectile vomiting subsided, I had a wicked night being a karaoke superstar on the pier. He spent the night stinking of vomit.

Aphrodisiac or not?
It'll be the zinc."
Zinc to make the girls wink indeed Mr Jim
All shellfish contain it and yes, it does work (taking a multi-vitamin once a day avoids the need to dribble raw snot down your neck) |

Does it really, or does it just provide a raw material for sperm production? |

Bizarrely enough Zinc DOESNT encourage erections and DOESN'T contain aphrodisiac properties.
Natural zinc is a protein that encourages sperm to get off their arses and work harder.
So when you hear of oysters and champagne and sex for valentines day resulting in pregnancies it's cos the zinc has gotten sperm supercharged and conception chances have quadrupled. |

Some medical reports link zinc deficiency with serum testosterone production in both older and younger men (I can link you the papers but...), there is some confusion over whether serum testosterone actually has an impact on a mans erection but tests on rats (!!) concluded that zinc had a positive affect on arousal and maintaining an erection...
