Afternoon all
I used to have 0 body confidence, mainly because of shitbags in my life, however after talking to a good friend on here I decided to take a full frontal standing up nude pic and you know what...Greenpeace did not try and push me back into the ocean. Is there anything you have done that has boosted your confidence and made you feel better about yourself? |

I applied for naked attraction and went to the audition and I had to get naked in front of three judges in Manchester, that boost my confidence |

Yay! It’s so good to push our circle of confidence. Well done.
I’m taking on a campaign at work (or will be) that scares me rather as it’s also very personal to me. But I know I’ll feel more confident for going for it. |

Well done you. I wish I had the confidence. I lost it after a terrible relationship with my ex, I gained weight and lost all my self worth. Its building back up now and I'm determined to start trying to lose weight for myself.
Ive not done naked on fab meets, I don't feel confident enough for that but I can now managed to sleep naked next to my fwb and he stroked down my naked body last night and said I like this nakedness which made me feel much more confident about it |

I'm still not confident about my body even though I have a huge tattoo on my back I'm very self conscious about taking my top off in public when the weather is scorching I think no one wants to see me without a top on I hate my body to start with will take hell of a lot for me to like it the few pics I have shirtless took me hours to pluck up the courage to do |

That's great!
I think the biggest and thing I did to make me feel more confident is "put myself out there".
I was totally celibate for nearly 10 years as I convinced myself nobody would find me attractive!
I'm much moor confident in my own skin now, oh course I still have a lot of days where I feel disgusting but I have have days when I feel amazing. I now have an amazing man in my life and love wearing sexy lingerie and going to clubs. |

The way I boosted my body confidence was actually when I started going to nudist beaches. I was more overweight than I am now and was a bit shy about my body in public. I’d had a bit of hang up about it since I was in school and my strict Catholic upbringing and shame about nudity and sexual behaviour had caused me to become more coy about it than I needed to be. However on holiday in Fuerteventura I noticed lots of different shapes and sizes on the beach enjoying the sun with out a stitch of clothing on. So decided to get my kit off and join them. It was liberating. I gradually got more confident, walking down to the sea, then along the beach. I just kept doing it and became more confident. When I lost a lot of weight 2-3 years ago my body confidence increased even more as I was working out and feeling fitter. I’m probably a bit of an exhibitionist now because my confidence grew so much. I’ve still got further to go as I have the odd wobble confidence wise but it is rarely, if ever, to do with my bodily appearance |

My confidence problems haven't been about my body (to my surprise), but more about the thought that I might be likable. I've been going to a club and making an effort to talk with people. There's still a long way to go, but things have improved so much already.
And yes, I'll admit that I went to your profile before even getting to the end of the first post |

Maybe a bit of a cliche answer, but being with my partner has actually done wonders for my body confidence...
I had always been slim but curvy size 8 as a teen, since having kids my weight ballooned and then dropped back down to a size 14, I now fluctuate between a size 14/16.. Being on here also helps however I still don't have the confidence to meet with women or couples that are much smaller than me

I can understand that would be a stumbling block but you never know you may find a slimmer woman who puts you at ease so much that you are happy to play |

Well done you. I have body confidence when I’m in clothes and underwear but still struggle getting naked with other people. I have had 4 children, lots of stretch marks and loose skin. Have really considered a tummy tuck but do not think for me that’s the answer.
We have just been in Cap D’agde and that really helped to see all sorts of bodies naked.
Sexiness so comes from inside, with confidence you will feel even more sexy xx

I’ve never been particularly body confident and only felt really comfortable in underwear that covered my scars and wobbly bits. Since meeting Steve I’ve not covered a single bit and am at my happiest with nothing on. Naked spooning is the way forward

I had a super rare illness as a child so was always semi naked from 9-14 being checked by Dr’s & nurses - really desensitised my feelings of embarrassment and body issues....
I don’t need an excuse to get naked much to the horror of my friends |

I lost about 7 stone in 2014 and have since put a couple back on. Since joining Fab and meeting women here, I've discovered something - they like my body! Its wobbly in places but its big and strong and cuddly. Some people absolutely love that and its made me very confident, particularly in clubs. |

Body confidence is such a bizarre thing. It comes and goes all the time. I post all manner of pics, it’s more about acceptance of who I am than confidence I’d say.
I don’t shy away from being naked, that would stop me from enjoying myself but I’m far from confident about the shape I have being an attractive one. For a 50 yr old woman it’s a bit girlish and nowhere near curvy enough in my opinion, yet still very soft in a mature way.
Not confident, but totally into this is me, this who I am and I’m bloody cool with that.
Good on all you who’ve managed to achieve the confidence, I salute you

I generally feel OK about my body. Occasionally I get fixated on disliking a body part but it passes. Last year I developed a dairy intolerance, which caused horrific weeping sores all over my face. It took 9 months to clear up. After a couple of months of feeling horribly self-conscious I gave my head a wobble and decided not to give any more fucks. After such an obvious disfigurement I'm just happy my body is a healthy one. |

I remember you from somewhere else, Lexa, and I remember your photos. You have an incredible body!
My body confidence isn't being happy with it - I'm not. It's more not caring. It is what it is, and there are enough people who don't seem to mind it.
There's plenty about me that I'd like to change. The best liberation is to not wait until you think you're perfect, and get out and enjoy it. As you start to see the way that others see you, all those flaws stop being so important. |

Used to have loads of body issues, but went along to a naturist club. When you realise that guys absolutely love a fuller figure, bits that wobble, and so curves should be celebrated!
Still hate wearing clothes, because I spend my time pulling them back into position.
Upshot is, I prefer to be naked, wouldn't have an issue walking into a room naked, especially after driving home from Kestrels and around the M25 naked after a mishap, but that's another story!!! |

If someone had said to me 6 months ago I would be walking around a sex club in my sexy underwear I would never have believed it.
This site and club experiences have really boosted my confidence and body issues.
Yes there are things I can improve still but I actually love and look forward to dressing down these days.
This also has a knock on effect to the way I want to be treated by guys. I definitely don’t take any shit anymore....... |

This is probably why I don't have topless or nude pics. I'm a chubster plus I have surgery scars so as confident I am, I get looked over because of it by most women. I don't ha e the courage to take a full body nude though, so well done |

Fucked some very stereotypical beautiful bodied people. Repeatedly. I don't mind being naked during sex with fab meets. People seem to really enjoy my body and that has a positive effect on how I view myself.
Being kind to my body really helped as well. I've dropped several dress sizes from a size 28 by eating food that makes me happier and feel more energetic. I also do yoga (and started the gym) and I like seeing how flexible and strong my body is becoming. When you realise how much your body can do it boosts your confidence. |

Well done OP... I hope it Continues...
Ive had massive issues with body confidence due to a past life so to speak. I still struggle now.. Especially with my wobbly tummy.. I always tell people I have wobbly bits. It does make me conscious of who I would meet especially if they have a superfit body and I think they are out of my league so to speak. On fab meets I find it hard to be naked.. I do get naked but I'm cringing in my head thinking they must be thinking . However in my new life my confidence has grown and I am trying to fight this.but it all times time, but I will get there. I think either like me or don't! Nothing I can do about it. Xx |

Probably more contentish than confident. I lost 6 stone, reduced my waist size from 44 to 34, got fitter and more stamina, not for fab, just for me really.
I've sort of grown into my body, and it's far from perfect, learned to accept myself as I am. I'm unlikely to ever go dancing naked down the high street, but with another who is prepared to overlook my "inadequacies", I can be relaxed and chilled about just being me.
Maybe though I'm far more confident in who I am, rather than how I look. Having said that often on fab it can be far more about how someone is seen by another, rather than who they really are.... |

That’s great if that’s where your confidence betrays you, but for a lot of people their angst and the pressure is from within and not always about someone else wanting them. That is what is so difficult to deal with, it’s not as easy as someone telling you that you look good if you don’t believe it or see it yourself. |

Just accepted who i am. My step dad passed away in 2012 suddenly and he (apart from my mum and my two kids) was the last of my family.
I just had a “you can waste the rest of your life trying to be stereotypically perfect, or you can just say fuck it and just be”.
Life can be taken away from us at any moment. Enjoy it whilst you can, how you can.

Fab and the club scene as really helped me. When you can be confident and just feel free being naked and having sex in front of people there's really not much more to be hung up about anymore. Especially when you realise the others around you are turned on and enjoying you, not running a way in revulsion. I really am in my element these days and so comfortable in my own skin (quite literally). I have not just accepted my body and sexuality, I have absolutely come to love my self (not in a vain way, if that makes sense). On top of that I have a partner that is proud of me for who I truly am and supports, encourages and shares in my new found freedom (as I do her). |

I've always had confidence issues, and never liked my body.
Up until recently when my health took a battering and I decided enough was enough my body has been through the wars and survived, so that In itself gave me confidence that my body was good. Then we joined here and my confidence has grown again because people have complimented my figure, I still have days when I don't feel good enough but again that's down to health issues which I have no control over. When I'm like this I get D to give my head a wobble and put me straight again.

It is really good to see people overcoming body issues. Fab can be a massive smack in the mouth to confidence but it's great to see people being nice to each other

How did you do it? X"
Cut out carbs. No booze, bread, rice, potatoes or pasta and obv no sweets crisps desserts.
It took 3 months and I pretty much keep to that diet - apart from the booze. I do love a nice bottle of red or a g&t, or both. |

I used to have 0 body confidence, mainly because of shitbags in my life, however after talking to a good friend on here I decided to take a full frontal standing up nude pic and you know what...Greenpeace did not try and push me back into the ocean. Is there anything you have done that has boosted your confidence and made you feel better about yourself?"

Actually the psychological advice is the opposite. Spend time looking and accepting.
I don't accept the extra fat I carry that's why I swim to change that. And walk to work."
That’s fine. Self acceptance doesn’t mean we don’t want to change the things we can |

Being around other people that are confident naked or even chatting to them on here helps. There’s guys that like every type of woman on here and that’s great to see.
Also fake it till you make it |

Remembering that you can’t make physical changes quickly but you can change your mind quickly
I threw out the societal ideals a few years back and haven’t looked back. I know my body isn’t for everyone and me myself may not be for everyone but everyone isn’t for me either so just live and laugh! |

Perfect ^
It's all about knowing yourself and it starts from within. Feeling sexy is the way forward first and people around you will notice how vibrant you are.

"Just accepted who i am.

Being a chubby/bigger guy never really like my body but after my first visit to a local swingers club with a partner made me more confident as they have a large hot tub which u get naked to go in, i was very very nervous thinking people would judge me for being overweight but was the opposite really i got compliments on my ink and was made to feel completely comfortable about being naked infront of others |

"Well done you. I wish I had the confidence. I lost it after a terrible relationship with my ex, I gained weight and lost all my self worth. Its building back up now and I'm determined to start trying to lose weight for myself.
Ive not done naked on fab meets, I don't feel confident enough for that but I can now managed to sleep naked next to my fwb and he stroked down my naked body last night and said I like this nakedness which made me feel much more confident about it "
You’re gorgeous. X |

"I lost about 7 stone in 2014 and have since put a couple back on. Since joining Fab and meeting women here, I've discovered something - they like my body! Its wobbly in places but its big and strong and cuddly. Some people absolutely love that and its made me very confident, particularly in clubs."
I lost 9st and have put 1st back on but I wouldn't set foot in a club for anyone |

I've always been pretty body confident but didn't realise just how confident I was until I joined fab. Since I've been older and entered the don't give a fuck stage of my life my body confidence has increased further.
One thing I do know is that body confidence is not celebrated on fab. |

"I'm still waiting to go to a club...the thought is terrifying."
If you were closer I'd be happy to take you. That sounds a bit hypocritical, because my advice to men wanting someone to take them to a club is always to just go on their own. But it is a lot more intimidating for a single woman.
Having said that, it's done wonders for my confidence. If you can find the courage, or someone to go with (the ideal would be a friend you already trust, who's a regular), definitely do it.
I would suggest checking out reviews of clubs near you before you pick one. Try to find one with a strong social side. |
