Most are going to say block but if you find that too harsh maybe you should soften the blow by saying look you seem like a really nice guy but I'm not interested, I don't want to block you but will if you persist sorry

Do you mean in person or online... Online absolutely just block.

In person, I can't help as I'm terrible for not having a back bone and just saying please leave me alone.. We've had a few nights ruined at clubs from pushy idiots that do not take the first refusal

Block his phone number. I’d explain to him that you’ve said no multiple times and you have decided that you have no other choice but to do so. If you don’t know how to block his number (it’s really easy on iPhones but I don’t know about other phones) then just say you’re blocking his number, and under no circumstances respond to him. Delete all messages you receive from him before even reading them properly.
