Stuff like, what would the world be like if we didn't have the calendar? No days just day and night, no Mondays or Tuesday.

What if we didn't create a way of measuring time? Would the world we know still function.

Or what would the world be like if we didn't have certain events happen like ww1 or the battle of Hastings? Or if religion didn't exist where would we be now?.....

Do you ever wonder stuff like that?

Don't people usually have these kind of thoughts at 3am when they're trying to sleep?

yes. All the time.

What I don't get, is at 00.01 on the 1st of January 0000, time supposedly began. So how was time measured before then?

There and to the left a bit

The first two of those aren't worth wondering about because they are both concepts for which there would be some kind of measurement regardless.

Historical events not happening however is an interesting one and I can recommend the Ben Elton book Time And Time Again which is a time travel book that deals with someone going back to prevent the First World War or the Stephen King book, also a TV series 11-22-63 which is a similar thing dealing with stopping the JFK assassination

How would things be if socialism took over and was followed with integrity (none more equal than others....).

Do mormons really believe that stuff when they are alone and looking at themselves in the mirror. Same goes for many religions.

Will ai be a benevelont or maleficient ruler

Is it ok to say bitching and moaning

I don't think so much about what if certain things didn't happen but I do think a lot about things that have happened but we don't know the details of. Prehistoric religion, what was Queen Elizabeth I really like, what was life in the dark ages like and so on. It's endlessly fascinating to me

I often wonder if, at the point of death, the light at the end of the tunnel is the point at which you're pushed out of another vagina. And I often contemplate if ghosts see us as ghosts. And there was another time I was waiting for a waiter, and at that point, I realised I'd become the waiter.

When I was young I was fascinated by motorway and thought that there was no end to it. So I long ponder on what the end of a motorway looked like.

Nah not really. Call me narcissistic by all means but I prefer to ponder my own existence. It has more meaning to me than random "what ifs". This is all saying if I have the desire to think about things as it generally leads to some pretty dark shit.
