"I watched Twelve Angry Men (original) again this afternoon. Brilliant movie.
12 men and around 95% of the film set in the one room if I remember correct.
The casting director made that film the success it is.
Referring to them as their juror # throughout is brilliant too. It’s just riveting.
I think it's about as minimalist as a film gets.
Now that’s a challenge. I reckon there will be competition.
Reckon Locke would be considered more minimalist. Tom Hardy in a car.

I love Locke, the premise “bloke on phone while driving on motorway, discussing an important concrete pour” shouldn’t work, but was utterly fantastic- yes I know there was the family dramas as well, but by the end all you wanted to know was the ‘pour’ a success. |
